NikonNikon Pro wins APA Award : Nikon Pro, Nikon’s international magazine for professional photographers, has been awarded the prestigious International Publication of the Year award by the Association of Publishing Agencies for the third year running. In choosing a winner, APA representatives were looking for quality of design and information. The judges were impressed with the Nikon Pro’s ability to combine exceptional work by professional photographers with product detail in an informative and engaging manner. Nikon Pro is designed to inform its international readers on how to select and use their Nikon equipment to produce stunning photography. Nikon Pro is distributed to 27 countries in 4 different languages, three times a year.

The exquisite results that world-class photographers have achieved with Nikon equipment, as showcased in the magazine, demonstrate the importance of investing in quality apparatus. The magazine aims to reflect the values of the Nikon brand: a legacy of pioneering innovation, which celebrates the joy and artistry of photography. Judges at the Association of Publishing Agencies said, “We chose Nikon Pro as the International Publication of the Year because of its great balance between beautiful representations of photography as an art, combined with product information”.

Readers seem to agree. The latest annual readership survey revealed that 85 per cent of respondents said Nikon Pro was a useful source of information, 77 per cent used Nikon Pro to keep abreast of technological developments and 71 per cent of them used Nikon Pro to get ideas for new purchases.
