Lexmark X5470 receives Design and Engineering Award

 Lexmark X5470 receives Design and Engineering Award : The Consumer Electronics Association has named the X5470 All-in-One with Fax and Photo from Lexmark International, Inc. as an International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Innovations 2007 Design and Engineering Awards honoree in the Mobile/Home Office category. Innovation Award honorees are determined by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, engineers and members of the trade press in recognition of outstanding design and engineering. Criteria for the award include engineering qualities, intended use or function of the product, aesthetic appeal and unique features. As an award recipient, the Lexmark X5470 will be displayed during the 2007 International CES event.

The Lexmark X5470 has also gained recognition with international media, including ComputerBild, which is one of the leading technology publications in Germany. In its October issue, ComputerBild designated the Lexmark X5470 as winner of its Best in Test comparison study of all-in-ones. Competing products included Brother's MFC 240 and DCP 240C, the Canon Pixma MP600, the Epson Stylus DX 6000, and the HP Photosmart C5180, C4180 and C3180.

UK-based PC Pro magazine also recognized the many strengths of the Lexmark X5470 and awarded it a PC Pro Recommended rating in its December issue, stating that " for office work, the Lexmark is a steal, especially considering the fax." Also, MacUser UK awarded the Lexmark X5470 a five black mice rating, noting " Lexmark's X5470 is a dependable and versatile performer, capable of everything from decent photo output to business-level faxing."
