"Everest III answers the industry's need for fast, reliable disc printing solutions beyond the capabilities inkjet disc printing can provide with stick-on labels," said Manny Almeida, chief operating officer for Rimage. "Many of our customers' disc publishing applications demand a permanent print, whether it's labeling a patient's medical history, evidence for criminal cases or a company's financial records. Everest III's ability to bypass the common problems of scratching, tearing and peeling make it the category leader. Its resulting prints are professional looking and virtually indestructible." Rimage's Everest III printing solution will be sold as stand alone unit and with Rimage's disc publishing systems - the industry's highest performing, most reliable solutions for automatically creating professional CDs and DVDs with customized digital content and direct-to-disc labels.

Rimage disc printing - Everest III
"Our CD and DVD products are sent all over the world, and we want to make sure these products look as good in five years as they do today when they leave our facility," said Bob Jacobson, president and chief executive officer of Mixonic, a long-term Rimage customer. "CD printing quality is a key consideration for us. With our discs being printed on the Everest III and recorded using a Rimage system, we are confident in the quality of our shipped product. We do not have to worry about the image on the disc fading over time, scratching or labels peeling - problems which we could encounter with other printers."
