ColorvisionColor Certification Program from Datacolor : Datacolor, a world leader in color technology, announced at the SDC International Colour Conference 2006 the arrival of Datacolor Certified, a universal color assessment program that will standardize process requirements and grade color performance levels for the apparel industry. This program is designed to improve quality color collaboration and provide retailers with a cost effective and trustworthy source for color assessment. “Our Certified program provides the first universal color accreditation program that addresses the compliance and standardization challenges far more efficiently than individual on-site methods,” said Dan Randall, Datacolor’s Director of International Sales.

“This program is a result of collaborative discussions with our retailer, brand, and supply chain customers who expressed a critical need to optimize coordination and communication between retailers and brands, streamline the process and significantly reduce time to market.” The ‘Datacolor Certified’ program grades potential color performance levels based on annual assessments of the mill’s accreditation results and associated hardware, software, operators and working environment. The program also offers remote diagnostics and frequent reporting, improving visibility of system performance and color compliance throughout the year.

Datacolor Certified benefits
- Reduced time and costs with effective color compliance throughout the supply chain
- One standardized but flexible program manages all color requirements and specifications
- Easy to administer
- Does not require pre-existing accreditation programs
- Quick, accurate communication with the world’s leading retailers
- Improved visibility of system performance
