Photo Imaging Division is now shipping the DPS Kiosk 7000, instant digital photo processing system with Mitsubishi’s category-leading digital photo printers. The new DPS Kiosk 7000 represents the most advanced processing and printing technologies available, providing high-performance processing in a straightforward user-friendly system. The versatile DPS Kiosk 7000 processing unit can be placed on a counter or can be mounted on an optional pedestal base, which holds the kiosk unit, as well as the output printers.

Screen size and ease-of-use are not compromised as a result of its compact versatility, as the DPS Kiosk 7000 boasts a user-friendly 17" SXGA touch screen menu. The large screen and easy-to-navigate menu system make producing prints a pleasant process for customers. Photo editing and enhancement features are available within the system, allowing users to customize photographs with frames and borders, as well as functions such as cropping, redeye removal, magnification and zoom.

The DPS Click 7000 system can also be used to complete the “micro lab” configuration which can act as a digital processing dry lab. With simple configuration, the DPS Kiosk 7000 along wit the DPS Click 5000 and dye sublimation printers can save any retailer thousands of dollars verses investing in a high cost digital lab. Mitsubishi’s DPS Kiosk 7000, joined by the DPS Click 5000, features printers backed by Mitsubishi’s Express Replacement Assistance program. These new fully integrated digital photofinishing solutions make photo processing an effortless undertaking.

The DPS Kiosk 7000 digital photofinishing system offers Aperion frames and boarders to adorn customer prints as needed. Celebrating holidays and special occasions has never been easier, as customers simply select the frame via the user interface and place it with the chosen photo. Photo greeting cards, birth announcements and more are easy to create and print. Supported by Mitsubishi’s high-performance dye sublimation digital photo printers, the DPS Kiosk 7000 system offers multiple printer hook-ups and provides several output print sizes. Printers currently available with the DPS Kiosk 7000 are the CP-9550DW-U providing 4 x 6, 5 x 7 and 6 x 9 prints, and the CP-3020DAU outputting to 8 x 10 and 8 x 12 prints.
