NurizonNurizon Acolens receives Photokina Star award : At this year's Photokina in Cologne, the word's leading imaging fare, Acolens has received the award "Photokina Star - Highlight of Photokina 2006" from the two well known German photography journals "digit!" and "Photo Presse." The award was handed over personally at the company's stand by digit! editor in chief, Roland Franken. "We award the Photokina Star during the fare to new products that are innovative and deserve the attention of our professional readers. Acolens corrects image deficiencies and effectively helps to fully exploit the potential of a lens," Roland Franken explained while handing over the award to "Nurizon Acolens" chief developer, Sebastian W. Schröder.

With Acolens Nurizon presents its first product for correction of image deficiencies, i.e. distortion, vignetting and focus falloff toward the edges. The software differs significantly from existing remedies in the market place. "That we receive an award so shortly after introducing our product at the Photokina surprised even us," says a thrilled Sebastian von Meer, Managing Director and speaker of Nurizon.
