KMR Financial investment in Lucidiom : KMR Financial Management of Mayfair, London, invested $6 million (U.S.) in Lucidiom Inc., the creator of the original Automated Photo Machine (APM), based in Vienna, Virginia. With the investment, Lucidiom plans to open a new office in Europe, just in time for the industry’s Photokina tradeshow in Cologne, Germany. Details about Lucidiom’s expansion within Europe will be released at Photokina. KMR Financial Management is a wealth management company whose principals have worked together for the last 20 years. Built entirely on a word-of-mouth basis, its client base is comprised largely of entrepreneurs and sports and media personalities.

“On being introduced to Lucidiom in April 2003, I quickly realized what a unique opportunity Lucidiom represented both in terms of investment and in the clear potential the company had to dominate in its sector,” said KMR’s Managing Partner Samir Khan. As a result, KMR introduced a number of its clients to Lucidiom and the compelling investment opportunity which led to completion of a $6 million (US) raise in 2006. Furthermore, Samir Khan and KMR client Nick Faldo, the iconic golfer and winner of six major championships, were so impressed with the company and its underlying technology, that they launched Intrix Worldwide Limited which is involved in placing Lucidiom APMs in strategic locations across the world.
