Microdia 4GB SDHC : Microdia is now taking orders for its latest 4.0GB SDHC cards; with estimated delivery of within 1 week from receipt of order confirmation. Having a suggested retail price of around 170 USD, this new Microdia memory card conforms to the SD memory card Ver.2.00 standard introduced by the SD Card Association earlier this year. With a capacity of 4.0GB, this new Microdia SDHC card can store more than 2,000 high-resolution pictures, more than 1,000 digital songs or up to 8 hours of MPEG 4 digital video. No doubt, this card will meet the requirements of the most demanding digital photographers. Microdia confirms that the new Secure Digital HC cards will be 100% fully compatible with SDHC devices.

The SDHC technology will allow the manufacturers to develop SDHC cards with capacity of up to 32.0GB, in order to meet the fast growing memory requirements of a new generation of audio/video and telecommunications devices such as camcorders, 3G cell phones, computers, digital still cameras, LCD/Plasma televisions, GPS systems and PDAs, etc...
