 Norcent DC-1020 : Norcent, a marketer of high-quality home entertainment and digital products, is pleased to add a new feature-rich DC-1020 digital camera to its digital imaging line up. The new camera is now available for purchase with an estimated street price of $199. The DC-1020 shares many design innovations with its more expensive counterparts. It offers a large, scratch-resistant 2.4” LCD display and will capture high-resolution images up to 3648 X 2736. For crystal clear distance shots, a 3X optical zoom and 4X digital zoom are included. “Our new DC-1020 camera provides the same stellar performance as our 5 and 8 Megapixel cameras, while providing exceptional consumer value,” stated Jennifer Long, CEO of Norcent.

“It also offers an impressive range of features that enhance the user experience and improve the camera’s overall performance. Also, consumer’s on a budget will not have to compromise on the quality of their photographs and enlargements when using the new DC-1020.” Discriminating photographers will also appreciate the ability to select from 14 still photo modes, burst feature and multiple focus settings. Built in flash with auto, forced, no flash, slow sync and red-eye reduction modes are included to make every picture a masterpiece regardless of the ambient light.
Norcent DC-1020 compact camera - White balance
To acquire the color accuracy and clarity needed for truly high quality photography, the new camera offers auto, daylight, cloudy, tungsten and fluorescent white balance settings. ovie mode captures MPEG 4 video clips with resolutions of up to 640 X 480 and will playback in either NTSC or PAL formats with up to 30 seconds of wav audio that can be included with the video clips. Other features include a double self-timer and support for multiple languages.
Norcent DC1020 digital camera - Flash memory
The DC-1020 has 32MB of internal flash memory and is compatible with external flash storage media (SD and MMC memory cards). The Norcent DC-1020 arrives complete with user manual, camera bag, software CD, USB and AV cables for connection to a computer or TV set. The Norcent DC-1020 ten megapixel digital camera will be available through the soon to be launched Norcent website e-store as well as leading online sites, and select retail outlets nationwide.
