Faces are the utmost important objects in a picture and the first detail to be looked for by people when viewing their images. Oblò’s unique face detection technology allows users to quickly create a photo book or photo-calendar with their images positioned correctly and without the need to manually position them. FaceMatic saves up to 50% of the time generally needed to manually fit images into photo books or calendars!

With regular photos FaceMatic can correctly detect and position single or multiple faces present in different areas of the digital picture with an accuracy of more than 90%. Other special services offered by Oblò kiosks which benefit from FaceMatic face detection technology: single- and multi- page calendars, portrait-posters and Youontv, our patented DVD slideshow system. The regular print service can also benefit from FaceMatic technology to better adjust the digital image to the size of the print, avoiding unpleasant cropping of faces!
