The Sony Alpha 100 DSLR was introduced some months ago, offers 10 Megapixels resolution and features a new developed image processor. Nikon unveiled their D80 in the summer. The Nikon D80 incorporates a ten Megapixel CCD image sensor and a lot of technique from its big brothers the D200 and D2X. Canon threw their answer in the ring and introduced the Canon 400D digital SLR camera offering another 10 Megapixel of resolution and lots of interesting features.

According to our friend Jonas from DigitalReview.ca: "With respect to having the best viewfinder system, the Nikon D80 easily trumps over the Sony A100 and the Canon Digital Rebel XTi. Delivering a large bright viewfinder the Nikon D80 incorporates a glass pentaprism viewfinder similar to the type found on more expensive digital SLR's. The viewfinder magnification on the D80 is 94% compared to the viewfinder magnification on the Sony A100 at 83% and the Canon Digital Rebel XTi at 80%."
