KingstonKingston 1GB microSD : Kingston, today announced the launch of 1-GB microSD expansion memory cards to further enhance its growing line of mobile memory solutions. The increased capacity is essential for users of current and next generation multifunction mobile phones that require more memory to support advanced features including MP3 players, video, higher-resolution cameras and mobile gaming. "The microSD form factor is becoming increasingly popular as new mobile phone handsets reduce in size and increase in functionality," said Keyla Velazquez, mobile media product manager, Kingston. "With new 1-GB capacities consumers can efficiently manage more: ranging from address books, photos, data files and beyond," continued Velazquez.

The new 1-GB microSD card joins the Flash memory product group available for specialized digital content services.
