 Lexmark Z845 high performance color printer : Lexmark International, Inc. today introduced the Lexmark Z845 High Performance Color Printer, a single-function inkjet that delivers sharp, crisp text, high-end graphics and photos at exceptional speeds, priced under $50. Designed for budget-conscious consumers with high expectations for productivity, quality and reliability, the Lexmark Z845 delivers speeds up to 24 pages per minute (ppm) black and 18 ppm color. It features borderless graphic and photo printing, as well as an optional color cartridge that provides six-color printing capabilities. Lexmark's exclusive Fast Pics and Imaging Studio Software make it easy for users to enhance, print and manage their photos.

 Lexmark Z845 printer - Cartridges
With the Z845, Lexmark is offering inkjet consumers more choices than ever before to help reduce printing costs while also benefiting the environment.
• Users who purchase Lexmark Return Program cartridges (#28 black or #29 color) will receive a $4 up-front discount compared to alternative equivalent cartridges in exchange for agreeing to return the used cartridges only to Lexmark for remanufacturing or recycling. As an added bonus, consumers can also register to receive a free cartridge for every five cartridges of the #28 and #29 series that they return in a 12-month period.
• Users who prefer to recycle cartridges themselves can purchase alternative, non-discounted black and color cartridges (#28A and #29A).
• High-usage customers looking to lower per-page printing costs can choose high-yield #34 black and #35 color cartridges.
Lexmark Environmental Program
All of these cartridges can be returned to Lexmark free of charge for remanufacturing or recycling as part of the Lexmark Environmental Program. In addition, the Lexmark Z845 is backed by the new Lexmark Protection Guarantee that features next-business-day replacement for up to one year, helping to ensure a printing experience that is as reliable as it is productive. "Students and home office users who need a single-function printer will appreciate the speed, capabilities and overall value offered by the Lexmark Z845. And, the value equation gets even better with the new supplies choices we are offering that allow budget-conscious consumers to lower their printing costs while helping to protect the environment by returning cartridges for remanufacturing or recycling," said Najib Bahous, Lexmark vice president of its Consumer Printer Division.
