Hama Navigon software MobileNavigator 6 : “… turn left after 300 metres” commands a friendly voice to the driver. Unfortunately, you can no longer turn left as the street has been blocked off since the navigation system was purchased. Those who would like to avoid such frustrating moments and also would like to drive along the newly opened bypasses must depend on current map materials. Starting at the end of September, Hama’s elaborate distribution channels will provide four upgrade versions for PNAs (Personal Navigation Assistant), thus allowing you to upgrade to the latest Navigon software MobileNavigator 6. Preinstalled on the SD memory cards, the upgrades are suitable for most mobile devices.

The packages not only offer new map material from Navteq, but at the same time, also include an update to MobileNavigator 6 with all new features. This version features a lane, a speed assistant and a brand new intuitive user interface. “We are starting with four PNA variations, the smallest version of which includes material for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The more complex Central and North/East Europe models and the map covering all of Europe are the deluxe versions", explains Ralf Schmidtkunz, the Hama Product Manager responsible for storage media, regarding the new sales partnership between Hama and Navigon.
