 SLR Camera Armor : Made will be launching two lines of Products at Photokina this year. The first, Camera Armor, is a line of elastomeric cases for digital SLR cameras that keep cameras fully protected and instantly ready for action, with access to all features of the digital camera right out of the case. Also included under the Camera Armor umbrella are the Palm Strap and Ergonomic Shoulder Strap products. Both are engineered from stainless steel and neoprene to provide comfort and security for digital photographers who travel to wild places and want to protect their investment wherever they go. Made uses rugged, tear and abrasion resistant silicon compounds to provide durable protection with distinctive styling.

 Camera Skins
Made offers gasketed polycarbonate LCD and viewfinder lenses that keep dust and fingerprints away while providing a shatterproof coverage. Each case is sized to be skin tight for the camera it protects, and allows the user to take photos and access all features, change batteries, memory cards, etc without removing the camera from the case. It is protection that never gets left behind.
SLR Accessories
Choose from the Sling TM, a silicon rubber carry strap that features media storage slots and built-in camera stand, or the LevelHead, our ultimate case for SLR cameras that offers premium silicon based impact protection, in-the-case shooting capability, drop away lens cover, and our patented “Levelhead” display that tells you when your shot is level and ready to go.
Innovative Camera Stand
Made’s other brand, AlwaysOn, focuses on accessories that travel with the camera. The AlwaysOn family currently includes a universal wireless remote control, and an innovative Camera Stand that fits snugly to the base of the camera in a sleek, unobtrusive housing and allows the user to take photos in landscape or portrait orientation. Products from both brands are patent pending, and have received critical acclaim from industry insiders.
Silicon Valley-based product design firm
Made Products was founded as an offshoot of Speck Design, a 10 year old Silicon Valley-based product design firm that works with Apple, Cisco, Nissan and other major brands. Made shares development facilities with Speck at our world class design center in Shanghai, where we have designers and engineers on staff that manage Made brand and OEM development projects. Speck also owns Speck Products, one of the world leaders in iPod accessories and was the inventor of the “iPod skin” which is widely available at retail today.
Photokina 2006 Professional Photography show
Made Products will be exhibiting at Photokina 2006 (the world’s largest professional Photography show, taking place in Cologne from Sep. 27-Oct. 1) and welcomes European distributors to stop by and talk with us about how we might work together to leverage Made’s design and manufacturing expertise in markets where we do not currently have a presence.
